Büro North developed a comprehensive wayfinding guideline package for Sydney Airport, designed to enhance the passenger experience across its vast terminal network. Through extensive passenger journey mapping and experience analysis, the project focused on creating a cohesive addressing and nomenclature strategy that streamlined navigation.
The wayfinding system features custom typography, pictograms, and mapping solutions, all tailored to the unique requirements of Sydney Airport. This design was developed to support the airport’s internal team, allowing them to self-manage ongoing refurbishments while maintaining consistency and clarity in wayfinding across all spaces.
The guidelines ensure that the signage system can be easily adapted to future developments, promoting flexibility without compromising on user experience.
