Overview
Büro North’s Customer Centred Design (CCD) approach at Crows Nest Station, part of Sydney Metro City and Southwest Line ensures that commuters and community members navigate the space with ease and confidence.

Recognizing Crows Nest as a key transport hub with a high number of essential workers, Buro North developed a wayfinding strategy tailored to the needs of its users. By engaging with local residents, commuters, and businesses, Buro North gathered valuable insights into how people interact with the station and its surrounding areas.

This informed the design of intuitive spatial planning, and journey management tools that streamline movement throughout the station, from platforms to exits and nearby precincts. The implementation of clear, consistent visual cues and user-friendly solutions minimise confusion, reduce travel time, and enhances overall commuter experience. Büro North’s CCD methodology not only improves functionality but also fosters a sense of community and accessibility, making Crows Nest Station a vital, user-centric urban space.
