Te Tumu – New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) – has officially opened, marking a major milestone for Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Spanning 2015 to 2026, Büro North have worked alongside Warren and Mahoney, Woods Bagot, Moller Architects and a broader consultant team to deliver a seamless, intuitive and world-class visitor experience. From arrival to event immersion, every touchpoint has been carefully resolved—ensuring clarity, legibility and operational efficiency within a highly complex environment. Grounded in the narratives of whenua (land) and whakapapa (ancestry), the experience is deeply connected to place. NZICC establishes an exciting new benchmark for integrated experiences that we are very proud to have played a part in—supporting Auckland’s position on the global stage.
