Büro North is very pleased to announce that Soren Luckins (Creative Director) has been selected to represent SEGD (Society for Experiential Graphic Design) as Melbourne's Chapter Co-Chair with Alexander Meek.
SEGD is an international network of over 1800 professionals that exists to "educate, connect and inspire" the global, multidisciplinary community who create experiences that connect people to place.
The community is comprised of design professionals, fabricators and vendors who create content-rich, emotionally compelling, experiential spaces for a wide range of environments, from hospitals and transit hubs to museums, the workplace, exhibitions and educational campuses.
Operating at the intersection of communications and the built environment, the field embraces a wide range of disciplines including graphic design, exhibition design, architectural, interior, landscape, urban, digital and industrial design.
SEGD supports a community who strive to create environments that improve the human experience. Committed to knowledge sharing, and continually raising the standards of practice in a design discipline that has the potential to enrich the lives of people wherever they work, play, shop, learn, travel, or gather.
Both Soren and Alex are incredibly excited to be representing SEGD in Melbourne, with a range of talks, panel discussions, project tours and presentations planned for 2019 that will endevour to promote, lead and further the discipline and future collaborations for all SEGD professionals locally and nationally.
