Büro North worked with Denton Corker Marshall to develop a comprehensive visitor experience strategy for Melbourne’s heritage-listed Windsor Hotel, ensuring the hotel’s historic charm harmoniously blends with a contemporary expansion.

The strategy focused on understanding the hotel’s market, crafting unique and ownable guest experiences, and enhancing the hotel’s positioning as Australia’s premier grand hotel. By creating a seamless connection between the hotel’s historic façade and the modern addition, Büro North helped the Windsor Hotel plan memorable experiences that cater to both luxury travelers and heritage enthusiasts.

The design incorporated new, branded experiences that align with the hotel’s legacy while introducing modern comforts, ensuring guests enjoy a sophisticated and cohesive journey. The strategy also addressed the re-opening of the colonnaded frontage, enhancing the hotel’s iconic street presence and further reinforcing its role as a cultural landmark in Melbourne.
