Overview
Büro North partnered with Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad to create an adaptable wayfinding system for Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Designed to be implemented over several years, the system aligns with ongoing refurbishment and expansion plans.
By developing a refined kit of parts signage solution, Büro North ensured that the wayfinding could evolve seamlessly with the airport’s growth. The signage incorporates both digital and static elements, supporting dual-language communication while adhering to Malaysian design principles. This approach enhances the passenger experience by providing clear, intuitive navigation through the airport’s complex and expanding layout.
The flexible design also ensures that the system remains relevant and functional as the airport continues to develop, maintaining an efficient flow of travelers and improving overall usability.
