Büro North’s wayfinding strategy for Edith Cowan University’s “Campus of the Future” enhances the experience of students, staff, industry partners, and visitors navigating this dynamic educational and entertainment precinct.
ECU City Campus will feature cutting-edge learning environments, including six state-of-the-art WAAPA public performance venues and a vibrant public plaza with a dynamic digital media façade.
Understanding the complexity of this multifaceted campus, Büro North developed a wayfinding approach that combines intuitive physical signage with digital navigation tools, ensuring seamless orientation throughout.
Engaging with end-users during the design process allowed Büro North to create solutions that address the unique needs of this diverse community. From guiding visitors to immersive entrance points to directing students to next-generation learning spaces, the wayfinding system prioritizes clarity, accessibility, and engagement.
