NGV Triennial Voices
Büro North is honoured to participate in the inaugural 2017 NGV Triennial; an unprecedented landmark exhibition of international art, design and architecture featuring over 100 artists from 32 countries.
The NGV Triennial celebrates the most dynamic and diverse contemporary art, design and architecture from around the world including renowned artists and designers Ron Mueck, Yayoi Kusama, Guo Pei, Formafantasma and teamLab amongst many others.
We were invited by the NGV to interpret the exhibition and developed themes of Movement, Change, Virtual, Body and Time through an exhibition experience. In response we created a wayfinding strategy across the NGV site and designed the Triennial Voices space on the third floor of the gallery.
Triennial Voices is a space which brings together leading creative minds from across the globe. It is a space for pausing, reflecting, and delving deeper in to the exhibition themes. The space enables visitors to record their experience of the artworks, research, and ideas on display. Featuring 60 screens and an immersive digital experience, we have sought to create an environment which encourages dialogue and learning alongside quiet contemplation.
Congratulations to the NGV on an incredible achievement and significant contribution to Melbourne’s culture, the exhibition is open until the 15th April 2018, at the NGV International. More information here.
